Colour palette inspiration

 

 All the magazines use colours which stand out against eachother, all the magazines use the colour black at somepoint, it's easy to use colours which stand out against black. I like the red/blue/black colour scheme as red and blue are not colours I would normally put together but they go well on the page against the grey background and black fonts and animals.
The yellow/purple/black colour scheme looks good because it's different and goes well with the gold and purple dress modelled by Rihanna, yellow is not normally a colour I would use because it can be difficult to see on a light background but because they used a mustard yellow in big bold fonts it works well.

I like different coloured background which are still light enough to put well seen text over the top but it's not plain and adds more to the image of the front cover, I like the Q magazines background colour as it's a grey colour but still light enough to make the image stand out and all the font stand out.
